*** These rules are to be followed at all Porter County Special Olympics (PCSO) social functions.***
Entry door will be monitored at all times (at least two people)--all entrants will be hand-stamped.
Every athlete/caregiver will be accounted for upon arrival:
check list
sign-in with phone number
drop-off; car check with signature/phone#
Every door and convenient hallway will be secured/monitored
No athlete will be allowed outside the designated area unless accompanied by an adult or security.
Athletes must be checked out when they leave an event (check-out stations)
All invitations will include PCSO web site with "Please see PCSO web site for activity rules as a continuous reminder.
Invitations will be posted on web site prior to mailings.
Invitations will specify athlete/family/partner and one guest, with a reminder that the event is for PCSO athletes.
Any entrant not recognized should be asked to present picture I.D.(caregiver included)
Athletes must have verbal or written permission from parents/caregivers to leave with anyone else.
Failure to comply with PCSO rules will result in suspension from social events for a period determined by the board.
A file of athlete photos will be available for identification in case of emergency.
