Valparaiso Department of Parks and Recreation

Happy 4th of July!! The City of Valparaiso Fourth of July Blast will begin at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 4, at Thomas Jefferson Middle School (south parking lot). The Conservadellics and the Valparaiso High School Band will provide entertainment. Fireworks will begin at dusk (approximately 9:20 p.m.).

IT'S A PARADE!

On Saturday, July 4th we will be a part of the Porter parade. We would like many athletes to be involved. Meet at Yost School at 11a.m. Please wear your summer games "birthday" shirt. If you don't have one, I will have them to give you at the school.

To get to Yost School, go North on Meridian to Porter Ave. Turn West on Porter to Jackson Blvd. Follow Jackson over the tracks (there is a little jog right and left on Jackson). Although the name of the street changes, continue to go straight. When you come to Beam St., you will see the school ahead of you on the left hand side. Hope to see MANY of you there.

Deep River Waterpark!

If you are interested in Water Park tickets for July 15th, 6-8p.m. ($6), please let me know by July 6th. Tickets must be paid for when you get them. The following people are already on my list. (If you are not on the list and need tickets, please let me know.)
Byerly, Gunter, Stanley, Hemphill, Uhle, Kopec, Hiland, MacKenzie, Demmon, Crosby
